What can I expect at the first visit?

Does it hurt?
Any soft tissue releases will be modified to the client's pain tolerance.
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable gym clothes. You will examined on and off the table during your assessment and should not wear restrictive clothing.
Do you take insurance?
Triad Intergrated Massage Therapy PLLC accepts NYSHIP insurance at the time. We are a out of network provider. You will need a prescription for massage therapy prior to your first visit. We will bill your insurance directly for you. Prior to your first visit we will need to verify your insurance. Please call Deana directly at 631-372-3222 and then bring the above paperwork completed to your 1st visit.

It is important to obtain an accurate history at your 1st visit. Something which may have happened years ago and may seem insignificant can have an important impact on your care. Completing the medical history form prior to your 1st visit makes the visit more efficient. You can expect muscle pattern testing performed during this visit to help guide the most effective therapy.
